Weeklong Daytime Double Lane Closures Start On I-684

Motorists are advised that double lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 684 northbound and southbound.

There will be lane closures on I-684 beginning at Exit 3.

The closures will be between Exit 3 (Route 22) in Armonk and Exit 6 (Route 35) in Katonah, Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. while crews perform maintenance activities, weather permitting.

Motorists should anticipate delays and plan accordingly.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
